Didn't Autodesk fix the issue with this? I want to pick a point then zoom in and select the second point when doing a crossing selection. I was thinking this was fixed, am I mistaking? If they did does anyone know when and Ware it was fixed?

Hi

Do you mean something like...

Command: _.Select

Select objects: <Pick Point on Screen> Specify opposite corner: 'Z

>>Specify corner of window, enter a scale factor (nX or nXP), or
[All/Center/Dynamic/Extents/Previous/Scale/Window/Object] <real time>: <Pick Point on Screen>
>>>>Specify opposite corner: <Pick Point on Screen>
Resuming SELECT command.
Specify opposite corner: <Pick Point on Screen> 5 found

Select objects:Or using the scroll functionality of a wheel mouse ?

Or something completely different ?

+

ID: TS67484 - Objects are lost from selection set (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?id=2864144&linkID=2475323&siteID=123112)

Have a good one, Mike

Thats what I am talking about (I have done it both ways with 'z and with scroll mouse). I was thinking adesk had fixed this a release or two ago? Was I dreaming, was it on a wish list maybe?

Nope! though it would be nice if they did.

Pass, maybe... you could head over there ( AutoCAD Wish List (http://www.augi.com/autocad/default.asp?page=847) ) and search.

Have a good one, Mike

I like the idea that you can only select objects that are visible. I do believe that you can multiple select crossing windows for the strecth command now, though.Scott
