Guys,

Little problem here, I have a rvt file with 2 other rvt files linked to it. When I try to output it to autocad. The views of the linked models do not export. So when I look at the drawing in autocad, there simply is not model in the viewport. Do I need to import the linked rvt models into the main rvt file before i export to autocad?

Please help.

When you export a project with linked projects in it, you should get a .DWG file for the "host" project and one for each linked project.

when you open the "host" .DWG in ACAD, the other files need to be present (in the same directory) and they should be x-refed into the "host" .DWG file.

I have the same problem, and the main dwg file, that links the other dwg files for the linked rvt files into the main revit file, are there in the same directory. This works however the locations of the linked 'Revit' files dont seem to translate so well into the dwg file, shoots them all over the show, appears to be the position of their individual revit file locations. So far the only way i have avoided this 'displacement' is to actually model all in one file. I'd prefer not to, any help appreciated. Thanks.
