I'm sure I'm not the first to notice that when you upgrade to 2006 and try to open an older drawing, you get the big dialog box stating that the drawing(s) was created by an older version of AutoCAD. However, I thought that once saved in 2006, that should go away and be a non-issue. It does not. Is there a way to right this?

Make sure that your options are set to save drawings as a 2004 dwg.

It is set to saveas 2004. That might not have been the problem I was thinking of.... My bad. I keep having instances where the X-Ref icon on the tooltray says that my X-Ref needs reloading, even though it's first thing in the morning, and the base plans hasn't been touched in a long while.
