Regarding product registration/activation on Multi-seat Stand Alone
licenses, according to [ http://tinyurl.com/9zfzf ]...
"If the workstation is connected to the Internet, the software
automatically retrieves an activation code for each workstation when the
product is started for the first time."
So, can I assume that if a certain workstation (which does have Internet
Access) does not "Automatically retreive" an activation code, that I
have a unique connectivity problem (firewall, blocked port, etc) with
that particular workstation?
All of my installs from my AdminImage have worked just fine except for a
few which come up with the "Register or Run as Demo" dialog, as if they
were installed from a CD.
Any clue as to which port/protocol/address that the automatic
registration is trying to access?
TIA
