Background on elevational views....??

Hello guys!
I was just wondering if anyone knows how to make a background for the elevational views? Right now I am doing it the most primitive way... using ONE HUGE WALL and color it certain way. Also, if background for elevational view is possible, is it also possible to use gradient colours on it??

Yes, if you are rendering an elevation, you can use all the background settings as for any render. ( I don't think the cloud settings show up though )

You can also place a jpg into an elevation view and anything not modelled will show the jpg. So if you need a sky or an approximate background behind a shaded view, for example, just to give some flavour, then this is a quick way around it.
