G'day All,

Ok Ive created a stack of sections to be my concrete beam elevations. For some at 1:50 along say the concrete edge beams at the edge of the building, they are too long to show the full length on a sheet.

What is the best way to split them? Should I use two section tags and just overlap them or are there smarter/better ways?

Cheers for the advice,
Scott V

Hi Scott,
Sections can be split. Highlight the crop region and click on the little squiggly thing, then the individual section pieces can be moved together. I think that will do it for you...

Morning Tom,

I tried this and it splits the section and removes the middle section but I need to be able to over lap it . I have a long length of beam that doenst fit on the width of an A1 sheet. If I split in AutoCAD I would create an overlap between two grids so that they can see how it relates.

I think Ill have to try two sections for the one length of beam to get what I want.

Or am I missing some setting somewhere?

Thanks
