Hi ALL

I have made an inplace family and I think I have switched off it's display off. How can I get it back ? I speaking of the new display feature in 6.1.

Many thanks

Did you use the temporary hide feature (the sunglasses icon)? If so, go to the view, click the hide icon, and then click on reset.

If you switched off the category using the visibility/graphics dialog, you will need to turn its category back on again -- ie, if it is a casework family, window family, door family, etc.

HTH.

Hi Adegnan

Thanks for responding. I have made the extrusions and while I was extruding I think I have made the visibilty property off while extruding. I dont even know if this is whats happened!!

I'm not sure then Could the extrusions be buried under neath something else? Try using the temporary hide on other objects or looking from a 3-d view as a wireframe.

If you know the families name you can just pick it on the project browser, right click and select all instances.

It you select the family by the project browser and edit the family, then just Ctl+A (select all) you should be able select the hidden object, or if you go into wire frame view the hidden object will show up in grey. You can then select it and obviously turn it back on.
