I just bought a workbook by Cheryle R. Shrock, AutoCAD 2005. Along with the book is a 30 days free trial software. On my first book (Beginning/Immediate), the installation was a breeze. Now on this second workbook (advanced), it told me I have to purchased the product in order to activate it. All I want to do is use the 30 days free trial. Could you please help???? Thanks alot

Hi

How about trying the 30 day trial available from the Autodesk web site...

AutoCAD Product Trial (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=5603704)

Added benefit of going with something like the above, you get the most current version.

Have a good one, Mike

There are registry settings saved with the trial. If you are trying to install another trial CD of the same program and version, the registry settings are telling you that you have passed the 30 days and should purchase the product.

You would need to uninstall the previous trial and delete all remaining files, folders, and registry settings to install it again.
