I have found that you can use Macromedia Fontographer to convert any of your fonts into true type fonts that Revit can read. You just import the font and then export it out as a TTF and put it into your windows font folder. Be warned of two things however.

1. It does not seem to export them to scale, ie. you will set a type to 20mm but if you use one of the exported fonts it will actualy only show up as say 16mm so you need to tweak it a bit.

2. If you get an older version of Fontographer and you have over 512mb of RAM in your machine fontographer will tell you that you do not have enough memory to run it and then crash. So you will finaly have a purpose for that clunky old machine in the corner, or do the risky thing and pull the RAM out of your machine each time you want to convert some fonts.
