I have a limestone pattern located on a wall that displays properly in 3D and elevation views. When I set up a camera view the pattern does not display correctly when I use the "shade with edges" tool. Instead of the pattern it views as solid black. The same thing happens when I switch to "hidden line". I have tried zooming in, using "thin lines" and toying with the visibility and graphics options. I have not been able to get the pattern to appear.
Any ideas?

I don't have any solutions, but it is happening to me as well. Ours is an ashlar pattern that we got from a third party package somewhere along the line. I assume it's a problem with the pattern file, but that's just a guess.

I have had some problems with patterns displaying like that as well. You might try making sure that thin lines display is turned off. With some patterns I have used that corrects the problem.
Not sure if that will help.

Is this on a remodel? I had a similar issue where existing plaster turned a solid black after resizing the camera view size. No work arounds that I was able to receive, they just suggest placing a new camera but you can't set the view size prior to placing so I didn't find that of much use.
