Instance Wall: Incorrect wall area

I'm trying schedule a wall finish & wall area: such for paint,wall paper etc. and wall volume for plastered wall so my idea is to separate wall from its finishes So I created a wall instance as my finishes then created a schedule for walls, basically the wall instance will also appear in the schedule then I set the field I needed to schedule type, description ,area & volume..the result for system wall the area was ok but for wall instance the area was incorrect..need help

If you post a quick and dirty model up here with the schedule I think the gang will quickly be able to get a clear idea of what you're looking for. I know I'm a tad confused about your request.
