How can I get my dentil moulding to follow the roof slope in elevation?
Thanks,

I suggest you make it a roof hosted family. You could also make a parameter to set it back from the insert position by a fixed but variable ammount (if you get me) so that you would simply apply it in the roof plan and it would be at the right location.
I have to do one too so I will let you know how I fair.

I have done medallion blocks up the rake by using an in-place family (roof or wall) and then array them. See attached.

That is exactly what I was looking for. :D So I could use either a roof or wall in-place family.

I have been thinking more and more regarding dentil moulding in general. Is it possible to have a profile that defines say a two level piece of trim (i.e. 1x8 on 1x12) with dentil moulding repeating every 4 inches or something like that? Does this make any sense or am I just dreaming?
Thanks,

For sloping -- perhaps make a raling to follow a sloped floor? Haven't tried it yet.
