Can you attach profiles to curved inplace roof family?

I have just completed an curved roof using an inplace family, however it would appear i cannot use profiles on the edges to add gutters, fascias etc.. why is this? Am i missing something? Help!

Sorry, i meant can you attach sweeps to a curved in place roof family?

You can use an in-place family sweep to create fasicas or gutters on a curved roof. I don't think you can use the Host Sweep>Roof fascia Tool.
