demolish lines

working on schematic plans. have some things drawn in with lines. is it possible to demolish these lines using the demo command. or do i have to set up a demo line type. just looking for some continuity between demolished objects and lines.

If they are model lines, you can demolish them. Or, you could use the <demolished> linetype for detail lines.

model lines? are the created using the lines command on the basics tab. i believe they are detail lines which i guess is why the demo tool doesnt work. guess i will have to use the demo linetype.

Yes, the lines command on the Basics tab creates model lines, as does the lines command on the Modelling tab
