Skylights on a polygonal roof

Hi All,
I want to place a skylight window on all the sides of a polygonal roof ,right now when i place it ,it is placed perfectly on one face of the polygonal roof but for the other faces it does not take it the way i want, even the radial array does not work fine. I tried mirror but that also does not take it perfectly.
Cud u plz tell me how this can be done.

Can you show us a sketch of the roof and where you would like to place the skylights??

You should be able to rotate it.

I have come across this placing rooflights in simple hipped roofs too. I think it may be somethign of a bug, unless the intended behaviour is doing something I can't see.
