Greetings all,
I'm currently working within release 2004 which I plan on upgrading to the newest release of ADT, so any information that is specific to any release will be helpfull. Was wondering if there was a way or if anyone thought up a ways to limit users to have like a input mask or a list of specified options within manual property set definitions?
Example: I create a room finish schedule that has the following information, Room ID Number [Autonumber], Room name [Space Style]. Then the manual PSD Floor, wall, and ceiling materials. I would like to first be able to assign a specific materials to these thru the space style (ie office space style would have carpet, painted gyp bd, and accustical tile). These would be default for the specific space style. Then when the time arises to make a change out of the norm, I would like to have the operators be able to pick from a selection of choices that I specify somewhere. It really boils down to I want to be able to force only the available options for the project, and limit the possibility of having the wrong
material specified.
More background information as I read above. Let say I have many types of carpet within the project designated as C1, C2, C3, C4, & C5. Then our client add two more C6, & C7, I want to add that to the list of available options that way when we are working on multiple projects that our carpet types from one proejct dont transverse into the other.
I hope I made myself clear. I'll check back and make any clarifications necessary.
