Cut Pattern

I know that there is probably an easy fix to this question but I cant seem to find it. How do you turn off the cut pattern in plan view but not in section? I have a building with levels that are close together and in section view I want the walls to show shaded (solid fill ) but in plan view I dont want to see the cut pattern. Can anyone give me some guidance?

You could try VG... Cut Pattern Color... White

You can use the course scale fit pattern for your section view where you give solid fill pattern & for your plan views you can use a fine detail wherein the material you won't have have any cut pattern.
