Area Tag not enclosed

I have a problem on one of my floors in my project, where all my Room Tags work for that floor; but my Area Tag comes up that it is not enclosed. How can I figure out what is causing this error message? Any ideas?

area tags, need area boundaries. have you created a new area plan, then picked the walls you want as bounding lines? rooms have nothing to do with area tags.

Yes I first created area plans and then I created area tags for each. It worked for 4 out of the 6 without even selecting any walls as bounding. The two I had problems with were fixed by picking the walls as you suggested.

I have another problem. When I create an area schedule for my rentable area, I get a bunch of not tagged entries. Why am I getting these? How do I resolve or remove them?

You probably placed the area tag many times when trying to figure out why it wasn't enclosed. simply highlight the row in the schedule and click the delete button in the option bar.
