Anybody notice that lines picked from other elements in sketches the the trim and split commands have no effect? Is this just how it is now or is there a new setting I am not aware of?

Ok it looks like this only happens when i pick lines from a imported cad plan but works fine when picking revit elements. Never mind, false alarm...

Ok its doing it again, but I think I know why: I am picking an arc, and when I do it generates a spline instead of a new arc, which cannot be trimmes or split. That's a little frustrating. I guess this is new with 8.1 when we got the pick spline feature. I guess I will copy and paste sketch lines instead of trying to pick lines.
