I am not sure if this problem is on my behalf or a Revit quark, but my Revit walls are not exporting to the proper layers in DWG.

Under "Import/Export Settings" I have assigned different DWG layers to my WALL elements (core structure, finishes, etc). Problem is, when I export the Revit plan views to DWG, all the wall lines end up on the same layer in Autocad (A-WALL). Usually this is not a big deal to me, but my consultants are complaining about my "layer management". They would like to turn off everything but the wall structure.

Any suggestions?

Matt,
Make sure that when you edit your export settings you edit layer names for both projection and cut views. When exported your plans will be cut layers.

In order for Revit to honor those additional layer settings you'll have to choose Override Host Layers in the Visibility graphics settings of the view(s) you export. Check THIS POST (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?p=166180) for a little more detail.
