Slab edge sweep

I have a slab on grade situation where I am turning down the slab at the perimeter and have a trench footing under that. Typically we like to dowel the slab into the footing but when i try to do this the turned down area with the host sweep slab edge cuts out the dowel. Is there anyway around this?

I have noticed this problem too, and brought to the attention of the developers. No fix at the moment....

Have you found any other way to show a slab turn down with a dowel through it without using the slab edge sweep?

You can include a 2D deatil in the sweep profile. However this will not schedule.

A 2d detail component still doesn't allow me to sketch rebar over the top of it. Is there something I'm missing with that?
