Hi guys,
I have one column that is 20'-0" high and one that is 22'-0" high. I wish to connect a beam from the top of one to the other and a can't get the beam to angle, what's the easiest way to do this?

Hi,
You will need to create a sweep solid, or establish a reference plane from the top of one column to the next.

Reference plane will most likely be the easiest way to go. Give the plane a name so you can find it in drop down lists among other reference datums like levels, etc.
I typically set up a reference plane along all my roof slops so that I can show sloping beams that will support roof structure.
