Dimension references, formulas

Hi all,

Revit allows for entering simple algebraic expressions as dimension values (ie =5000/4+25), thus eliminating the need for a calculator.

I think I saw something about using variables or references in those expressions. Is this possible? To create a reference to another dimension in the model? What variables exist?

As far as I know conditionals or references are only possible in family dimensions [which become parameters] .. never heard or seen such things on project-level. It would be very nice though! :) let's make it an item for the wishlist.
