Can't change Diagonal tickmark thickness

I'm using text and shanginh the arrowhead/tickmark. I went to Settings/annotations/arrowheads. when I create a new arrowhead and select the Diagonal tickmark style it greys out the lineweight option. I want it to be the same thickness as my dimensions.

Or would it be possible to add a perameter to my text family?

f you go settings>annotations>linear (etc) there is a tick mark line wieght.

I think this is what you are looking for.
