ORDERING THE SHEET INDEX

Is it possible to order a sheet index out of sequence, I would like to place the civil drawings before the Architectural but revit orders things alphabetically.

You need to create a parameter for 'order' in which you can fill in 1, 2, 3....etc. and then sort your index by that field. It can be a hidden field, but this will allow you to put the index in any order you'd like!

I thought I posted this before, but when I searched I didn't see it. What we do is add the discipline and use a number then discipline i.e. 01 - Civil; 02 - Architectural and so on. Then we group by discipline and sort by sheet number. An added benefit is we get a sheet count by discipline and a grand total. Does that make sense?
