I have been experimenting with using the mouse in my left hand. It works great, it frees up the right hand to input numbers, use the shift, arrow keys etc. It would be very nice to have an escape key on the right side of the key board. (I need to do a lot of escaping.) Is it possible to reprogram one of the keys or add a separate key pad?

You might try this free utility:

I switch between right and left hand mousing every two to three months. However, I rarely use the escape key in Revit... Are you still using AutoCAD? I used the escape key in AutoCAD all the time.
