I thought there was a way to do this but I can't find it now. So I was either halucinating before or I'm an idiot now. Either way...

If you have multiple text strings in a file and want to rotate them all at once, but have them rotate from their individual base points, what is the command for that?

Sorta like how you can set the justification point for text using JUSTIFYTEXT without the text shifting all over the place. Isn't there a similar command for rotating text?

The easiest way is probably selecting the ones you want to change and changing the angle in the properties dialog.

Do you have a recent version of AutoCAD?

If yes, then select all the text you wish to rotate.
Go to the Properties box.
Select the rotation angle.

That's it!

The only "problem" with torient is that it rotates the text around (what I assume is) the centroid of the bounding box instead of the insertion point.
