SYMBOLIC LINES

I am sure this is answered somewhere in the documentation but beingf as lazy as I am... lets say I have a light fixture and in my electrical plan I have the model set to underlay. when I insert the fixtre I want to see a 2d symbolic representation of fixture as opposed to the model. so in the fixture pln view I set model diplsay to "Do not display" Then I draw in my symbol with symbolic lines. When I place the fixture in the electrical plan
the sybolic lines are grayed out like the model. How do I get the lines to show up black?

If you use the model dispaly as underlay then everything shows as halftone except detail lines, etc detail stuff. I do my elecatrical plans as go to view visibility and turn all model categories to halftone (check the box "halftone") except the electrical and lighting categories. Now anything you place for electrical and lighting will show up like it is supposed to.
