I run into this on just about every project. There always seems to be a couple of spaces that are not divided by walls, but they are separate. Hence, the Room Separation command. Then I have this line on the drawing and someone ALWAYS asks me, "What's that?" I say, "Its a room separation line." They say, "Can you get rid of it?"
Is there a way to turn off the visibility after using a room separator? I haven't been able to find it.
Thanks.

go to visibilty control and you will find room <seperator line> under the line catagory. turn it off and voila!

Blind in one eye...can't see too well out the other. I swear I've looked there about a dozen times.
Thanks.

I would like room separation lines to not print, but be visible, rather than turning them off in the view. Perhaps a tickbox on the print dialogue beside the one for ref planes?

I've got my room separation line set to a very light orange color. It prints a very light grey. I try to place these where floor material changes occur - or at floor pattern joints. Then they tend to disappear.
You can also just select the room separation line and type VH to turn it off in a view.

Good tip on "hiding" the room separation line Aaron. I'm always printing the job then noticing the unwanted line.
