Adding New Parameters to Door & Room Tags

I'm having trouble adding parameters to these tags. Should I be trying to add shared parameters (since that's all it will let me do)?

If you want to add a parameter that is not provided on the *list* then yes you'll need to make a shared parameter... be sure to apply that new shared parameter to the object style you plan to tag with it...

I just went through this with some wall tags and they worked out great.
