Code meaning = The parameter is incorrect.
Source = AutoCAD
Description = Invalid argument index in InsertInMenuBar
Hi Thomas,
A few questions:
What product, version?
Were you installing or running?
If running, what were you trying to run?
If installing, are you logged in as administrator?
Is it a network install?
and
Are the permissions set correctly?

What product, version? 2006 SP-1 Installed
Were you installing or running? Running
If running, what were you trying to run? Opening a drawing
If installing, are you logged in as administrator? I'm an Admin
Is it a network install? No
Are the permissions set correctly? Yes
OK, hmmmm.
A couple more:
Are you loading custom programs at startup? Any verticals? Custom menus?
I would guess that something is trying to insert a command in one of the menus and is failing because something isn't defined correctly (mis-named) or is missing.

Now I get this...
Command: x XREF Error in dbManager::Connect!
Code = 80070057
Code meaning = The parameter is incorrect.
Source = AutoCAD
Description = Invalid argument index in InsertInMenuBar
I noticed these errors a few days ago after working on a ADT Dwg.
I have QuickPen Pipe Designer loading up also.
Do you have some database connection with your drawings? Is it one drawing or many drawings?

Do you have some database connection with your drawings? Is it one drawing or many drawings?Quickpen has a database, AFAIK the 3rd part app handles that.
Is there a way to check?

Using dbconnect this is what I get..... Looks like nothing is attached to the Dwg..
I was mainly commenting about the dbManager part of the problem. I know nothing about quick pen.

I check the CUI and there was a dbconnect partial loaded. I unloaded that but still get...

Another question:
Do you have PipeDesigner 3D 2.1 Service Release 1 (http://www.quickpen.com/support/downloads/pd3d.htm#2.1SP1) , or the latest service pack for your version installed?

If I save the Arch background I'm using to 12DXF then back to 04 format, The dbconnect errors stop.
