Summary: AutoCAD to support transparency for all objects.
Description: I would like AutoCAD to support Transparancy for all objects, hatches, text, images, etc.
How Used: I would use it on almost every presentation project that I work on. It will minimise the programs needed, such as Photo Shop, etc.
Feature Affinity: Other

I agree. In my line of work masking the text is very important but I don't like not being able to see what is under the text. Masking everything under the text to a grayscale would be great.
Thanks.

If you look at it as as Alpha property that could be applied to a layer or an object in the same way that color is applied today, I think you can see tremendous utility. For presentation drawings, sure- but also in contract drawings. The fading ability in Refedit is very helpful, and being able to essentialy invert that by applying a 50% Alpha property to an xref would be even better. Readily distinguishing the reference file elements from the current drawing object would be priceless
