Hello, I'm a new user here and our office is considering transitioning from ACAD to Revit and I'm doing some research to present to my boss. Our local reseller is pretty clueless about Revit and it looks like the folks around here are much more knowledgeable.
So my question is this: our office does a lot of passive solar and energy efficient design and I noticed that Autodesk advertises that Revit can output gbXML to do energy analysis. Has anyone tried this? Our reseller told us that he thought that Autodesk might, um, assimilate one of the energy modeling programs in the future and it would be similar to the cost analysis feature of Revit. Any thoughts about that?
