Deleting or renaming line styles

Is it possible to delete or rename the systems line style Thin Lines, Medium Lines and Wide Lines ?

As far as I am aware you can delete only user-created line styles, but can only modify the weight, color and Patten of "System Line Styles".

I haven't tried this but I thought you could try and purge the file and maybe the will be taken out. As I have stated I haven't tried this yet so don't qoute me on this.

No. Would be kind of nice if you could as we don't use the thin, medium, and wide (but we do use the other system ones). I guess it keeps it consistent from machine to machine to some extent, so not a biggie. We just ignore them.
