I'm just starting to try and wrap my hands around using SSM along with fields. I think that I understand most of the basics after going through Acad's e-learning modules, but have several questions that I have not been able to find answers to in existing threads.
1. When you create a new sheet, the layout tab in the created sheet is labeled the same as the sheet title... O.K. If (when) in the future I need to rename the sheet title how do I get the layout tab to up date automatically along with the sheet title? Can I?
2. I currently have "sheet" custom properties setup for designed by, drawn by and checked by, often times these three items are the same if you were to break them down by discipline or subset in SSM vernacular. Can I control this information by subset? Or some other option? The only two control options that I see are by "sheet set" and by "sheet".
3. (Along the same lines as question #2) Our typical border includes an attributed revision block that allows for up to six revisions. It includes the typical rev. number, description, rev. by, rev. by date, checked by and checked by date (times six). I'm not sure how to approach this beast. Any ideas?? Often times we will only issue full set revision packages during the design phase up through "issued for construction" at which point all previous revisions are removed and the revision is set to "zero". From that point on revisions are made on individual sheet basis.
