I have one large project with a parking garage and a hotel casino attached to it.

I have two sets of levels one set to the hotel standard and the other to the garage standard. The 1st garage level starts at the 2nd hotel level.

When I try to put stairs in the PG it will go to every "level" both hotel and PG even though the stair level settings say P1 to P2, P2 to P3...etc.

Any thoughts?

PS these two buildings are separated by 40 ft scale feet or so.

Try associating the levels with a scope box and then turning off the hotel set.

How would you associates the elvels with a scope box? Not sure how to get that to work.

thanks.

1. In a plan view, setup a scope box.

2. In an elevation or section view, select the levels that are to be hidden and under element properties, associate them with that scope box.

3. The default settings " Views Visible" for the scope box will have the scope box invisible for all the elevations ( > depends on your template of course. ) That can be changed as you desire, toggling the scope box visibility and/or the view property scope box association for the elevation or section.
