Summary: The ability to prevent self intersecting feature failures by having cuts, features and filets act more like machining operations.
Description: Self Intersecting Cuts, Features, Fillets etc.
How Used: When placing a sweep, if the shape of the profile is larger than the radius of the path, a self intersection occurs that currently causes a failure. A typical example would be running a 1 inch router cutter around a 1/2" corner. This is a simple machining operation but it fails in Inventor. I would like Inventor to be able to perform the same operations as a milling machine, router etc.
Feature Affinity: Part Modeling
