I posted earlier today that I was working on nested groups of light fittings. Part of the exercise was to include switching lines so that all I needed to do was make a tail to connect them to the light switch.
I defined a line pattern with the same name and pattern as the pattern I would use in my template for light switching and applied this to a new subcategory, 'switching lines', in the family and drew the switching lines using symbolic lines. It all remains parametric and works pretty well.
When that family is imported into my project I find that the switching lines have been converted to a different line type and I have to go into the object styles menu and reassign them.
Anyone know the reason for this unusual behaviour?
