Using RulsSurf create a ruled surface between two Ellipses

I'm trying to create a ruled surface between two ellipses; but for some reason I get strange results.
Some times it works and some times it doesn't. What am I doing wrong?
I read the help file and tried it different ways and still get the wrong surface.

ack! I, remember this from the old r12 days.

I can't remeber if it was how the arcs are selected, or if the vpoint, had something to do with it.

but I just recreated your model, and it surfed fine. (2004 mechanical)

Okay I figured this out also.
I split the ellipse in two and did one side at a time.
The trick is to pick the same ends of the two different objects.
I'm not sure why this doesn't work properly when you pick two closed ellipses.

It should work if you pick equallent points in the two shapes. But splitting them up is safer.
