I've installed DWF writer 2, also made sure my DWF viewer is up to date.

I create a multi-page DWF, open it in the viewer, good so far. Then...

When I go to print the DWF to paper, the Viewer crashes out.

My objective is to send multiple 8.5x11 drawing sheets to a contractor via fax (Windows XP standard fax software). If I print to fax directly from Revit, it sends a page, hangs up, then I have to go through the wizard all over again. That's why I want to use multi-page DWF. (Create the DWF, print to fax once). Once I discovered the crash printing to fax, I tried to print to my printer - same result.

Any ideas?

I had some problems printing with DWF Viewer also, although it didn't crash.

In this case I was converting a multi-page (11x17) dwf file to pdf, using pdf995 print driver.

The dwf print dialog didn't seem to pass the paper size over to the print driver. I had to go into the print driver properties & manually change it.

When I chose "Print to 100% Scale" in the dwf print dialog, and selected "Print", an Autodesk Express Viewer error message popped up, saying that the drawing might be clipped, and if I wanted to avoid this, cancel out, and check the "print across pages" option.

No such option exists, that I could find.

When I did get it to work, a 3223 kb dwf file became a 576 kb pdf file. :o
