Door that "Moves With Nearby Elements"

I like doors to be 6" off the adjacent perpendicular wall. Is there a way to lock the door in place so that it will move with the wall and always keep that relationship. Now when I move a wall, I also have to adjust the adjacent door. Ideas anyone? Thanks

Add a ref. plane 6" from the jamb in the family and align/lock the ref plane to the wall.

If you dimension from the door reference to the wall face then lock the constraint. If you delete that dimension but keep the constraint, the dimensional relationship between the door and the wall remains.
