First time trying to print/plot a sheet in Revit. Using HP DesignJet 1055CM on a network.
In "Printer Setup", under "paper" -"size" pull down menu, I have "ANSI D - 22x34" among others. But I really want the sheet size to be 24"x36". Our plotter paper roll is 36" wide, and my co-workers can plot 24x36 from AutoCAD.
Does anyone know how to load more paper size options into Revit? Does Revit use any control files? Many Thanks.

You need to make those sizes available from your printer. We have the same plotter and Architectural sizes are not defaults for the HP 1055. Ain't a Revit issue at all.
Open the printer control panel. Printer->Printing Preferences->Paper Sizes->More Sizes
Check Architectural. You may wish to uncheck some of the sizes you don't use.

I think you have to make that size titleblock yourself. Revit only comes out of the box with the smaller size. I had to make my own.

We just started using Revit Architecture 2010 and I am setting up a project template. Why is printing always an issue? We have an HP Designjet 1055 CM large format printer.
I would like the HP Designjet 1055 CM printer to ALWAYS display the architectural sheet sizes. I wouldn't mind if those were the only ones I ever see. How do I (or can I) configure the plotter software so that I don't have to always go into the properties and tell it I want architectural sheet sizes?
Thank you
Michael
P.S. why does this seem ridiculous to me?

It's an IT issue and not Revit related.
Like Aaron mentionnedit, it's all under the Plotter's driver. You can create but also specify the sheet size you wanna use.

Thank you for the quick response.
I have a call in to my IT guy.
My problem has been that the plotter settings do not save the settings after I click ok.
I would think a save or save as buttun would be in order.
