I am generating a DWF with ADT 2006 out of the box. I am not using DWF Composer. I have embedded Hyperlinks on a block in the DWG to photo images on my hard drive. Everything works fine in ADT. When I publish as DWF and open in DWF 6.5, the links execute, but they open my browser and are looking for a “www” location and not linked to the images on my hard drive.

How do I get it to open a file on my hard drive?

Hi

How are you defining the URL's ( Paths ) associated with the Hyperlinks ? ie

* Windows Drive Letter.
or
* Universal Naming Convention (UNC).

Have a good one, Mike

The default path is set when I select the image from the dialog box. I believe it is "./image.jpg". The DWG file and image are in the same folder. No drive letter, no path.

Personally I would try adding a Path and see what happens ( I would favour going with a Path defined via UNC ).

There is a setting in AutoCAD, or ADT in your case, where you indicate "use relative path." This will cause the DWF files you generate to have the URLs you desire.

"use relative path." .

I did that - no luck. It did not work.
