As you will see this is a shell only, and the night shots were an after thought, so you'll see an empty building. Didnt have any extra RPC content, so the only thing that wasnt standard with revit was the Materials.
Thanks for your comments
there will be 1 other post with the night shots

The sun reflection on the glass is very Photorealistic, I like that a lot, was it just a light turned up really bright? Nice big looking project too, how is that going so far with Revit, are there a few of you working on it or just youself?

and any of these should be IOTW, probably one of the night time ones I think.
If it is all Revit based I think you could have easily made IOTY with some these.

That is nice work! Do I remember correctly -- from another post of yours -- that this is somewhere in AZ?
Also, what other rendering/modelling tools have you worked with?

I don’t know if I’m going to look a bit slow here or not, but help me out with "IOTW" & "IOTY"
the sun glare is a reflection just from the sun in Revit, it gave me a bright white spot on the glazing, and then I added a simple lens flare with Photoshop to get the added hotspot. 8)
Currently I'm the only one working with Revit in our office. It was hard enough to get it in, and now I'm fighting for people just to understand the difference between this and ADT.
They fought it before it was here, then they kept looking for all the draw backs and saying that there must be a down side some where, and now I'm getting comments like this "oh, just TELL it to put a double curved roof on it".
So now it’s become a necessity that they didn’t have 6 months ago, but nothing I do with it is enough. They were even a bit irritated that these renderings took a week to generate. . . and that’s from a blank file to final renderings, plus all the irritating comments like "oh i forgot to tell you the site changed, it actually does this". :x
I'm an X-ADT/Cadd & max/viz user, but haven’t done any renderings in a while with those.
The project is actually up in Flagstaff. College of Business.
Thanks for the positive feed back. :D

Tell then to try to duplicate your efforts in ADT. Give them a week, starting from scratch like you did. Then when they are about done, impose a change. That's where the real time savings comes in! In Revit, I don't even hesitate to make a change, because I know everything will update. A last minute change in ADT could set you back days!

How would I get involved at taking a swing at IOTW or IOTY?

Chris just grabs an image out of the gallery when he has time and posts in on the main zoog design forum page (HOME)...

These are really, really great. IOTW for sure.
If it's any consolation, many senior staff members in firms don't have a clue about software. And then you've got the "gatekeepers" who don't want Revit because it undermines their control of AutoCAD/ADT... Revit needs so little management that you barely need a CAD manager
I'd like to say you could do this in ADT. (You could, but you'd have to be at one with your software. I mean -- sleep with the CDs and all that.)
Nice work!
