Rotating Text is pissing me off

Try this little experiment.

Draw a line at 43 degrees off horizontal. Now place a line of horizontal text. Next try to rotate the text to align with the line. You will find that it is next to impossible. :banghead:

I spent 10 minutes fussing with this stupid little anomaly trying to get it to work. It drove me nearly crazy. Text in Revit needs help! Although it is slightly involved, there is a work around here. See if you can figure it out.

If I am missing something obvious here let me know.

Group your text object and now you can rotate with the rotate command...then ungroup... (gee that's intuitive... :wink: )

Yes, that is what I did. Although, I messed around with snaps and snap increments to no avail before that. Why on earth is it necessary to go to so much trouble just to rotate a piece of text?
