3d Sectional Model View

Beside using 'Section box', is there a way to create a 3d sectional view for a particular part of the model? For example, if I want a 3d section of a door jamb and a portion of wall from finish floor to 4ft a.f.f. from a model. How would I do that in Revit?

Its been discussed before if you search the forums, but I believe the way to do it is make a new 3D view, go to view-->orient-->to other view-->select desired section and then you can dynamically adjust view until you find the proper angle.
