Railing cleanup

On the attached image, I have a railing that has a change in direction.
How do you go about cleaning up the join between the landing and the next flight of stairs, including the stringer?

I'm hardly an expert on this stuff, particularly not a railing of the style you've shown.

But I recenty was working on these railing manipulations with baluters and newel posts, etc. Can't say that i fully understand it; it was mostly trial & error for me.

That said, I assume you need some type of a post at your corner transition. Is this stair one continuous model with the railing created during the stair process? Or more than one stair model? I've found in some cases it becomes easier for me to create the railings separately from the stairs, and in multiple pieces, to get the right style and transition.

Have you made any progress?
