We have just started to dip our toes into the world of Revit seriously and I have had go at the tutorials that it comes with.
What I would like to ask is how good is RS3 at modelling concrete ?? I don't mean run of the mill flat slabs with tees, troughs or hollow pots but difficult basement modelling i.e. retaining walls, sumps, falls, pits etc .... standard stuff you get in a basement or spiral ramps to car parks ??
Up to now we have been using 3D+ which is excellent at steelwork ( which RS3 seems to be ) but not up to complicated concrete.

Any advice out there ???

Hi Mike,
I think you will find that RST3 is very good at concrete. At our office we have done lots of structures, and after becoming more experienced, I feel I can model almost anything in concrete. What you can't model using stock libraries you can create with solid and void forms.
And I know others feel the same. Check out the thread "Future for concrete in Revit" for more info.

Have a great day...
