Roof Fascia!

Anyone help me out here? roof fascias are continually plumb cut and in one of our views it looks terrible.

We desperately need to figure out how to square cut it, and the rafter cut option in the properties of the roof only seems to change the slope defining edge as opposed to the high edge.

I have tried created a fascia profile that adds a square end but it wont join geometry nicely... any advice?

...about all you can do is create an in-place roof. I've run into similar sitations and creating a fascia that squared off the top edge wasn't worth the time.

Sorry I might be miss-understanding what your trying to achieve, but if your using a host sweep fascia can you not just change the mitering option in the fascia settings to perpendicular to path and it will give you the result your after.
