I have a floor plan for my ground floor, with the top of the view range set to Level Above, which is roof bearing. I have some windows in a wall above my roof, 3'-4" above roof bearing to sill height, and yet parts of those windows (I'm guessing the symbolic lines in the family) are showing in my ground floor plan. Any ideas why this is happening?

If your view range top property is set high enough you will see them. I ran into the same problem with a site plan for a 16 story building, I had the view range set to cut thru at 4' but the top offset was 200' and I saw my window symbol lines, as soon as I changed the top offset back to 7' they went away.

ah drat! such an obvious answer! :p
At first the view range top was set to unlimited, which I changed to be the Roof Bearing level, but I didn't even pay attention to the offset setting right next to the pulldown box. :banghead:
